Having recently released a track with top electronic band Swami, Midlands-based producer SKA, Curator of the Eastern Electronic Festival, Shaanti.TV, club promoter and radio-DJ, Producer is renowned for her variety of musical tastes playing an array of genres from electronic, jazz, broken beats, minimal, deep house, techno, disco and electro.

Having worked with the likes of Robert Luis from Tru Thoughts Record Label (Shake Your Wig/ Heavy Vibes) and Russ Dewberry (Jazz Room’s) in her University days, to touring the world with Joi – Bangla Soundsystem (Real World Records): working with Island Records on Talvin Singh’s legendary Anokha album, Ed Pillar’s Acid Jazz Label and with Ministry of Sound, SKA is a formidable force in the music industry.

As a live-events producer and club-promoter of the Award Winning Shaanti and Shaanti 11  – a not for profit music development company, past events have include hosting club-tents at many festivals across the world including The Big Chill Festival with Nitin Sawhney, to working with Asian Dub Foundation’s on their Tank European Tour, 02 Mobile, Channel 4… hosting monthly club residency’s at Cargo, Bridge and Tunnel, 333 Club, Medicine Bar (London and Birmingham) and securing guest spots at Fabric. She was also the Music Supervisor on the Multi-Award winning indi- film Karma Cartel and creator and Founder/Artist Director of The Eastern Electronic Festival, a month–long music development festival, supported by the Arts Council UK.

Now working in the studio, her first release of ‘Do It Again’ by Swami, offers up a remix that stretches out a sound design of deep house and piano-laden bass to new limits. Taking Swami’s swirling vocals and punchy keys higher and higher, while adding a hypnotic bassline, this is a track built with the main-room in mind. With her single due out this Summer, followed by a debut EP, SKA’s remix of Do It Again, marks the arrival of this hot new producer.
